This weekend the local and immensely talented Alex Manzotti has a photography exhibit in Kennett Square. She isn’t entirely local which is why her exhibit is nameth “I Sentiere di Caglio,” or my photographic journey through Italy.
And Alex is multi-talented. When she isn’t busy working on her fantastic photographs, she is available (at a fee) to translate into Italian, any pithy sayings you may want permanently tattooed on your body. Really, I kid you not. I spent an entire dinner listening to her explain the nuances of tattoo translation.
If you are free tomorrow you should definitely stop by to see her works. I have a feeling she may be moving up, as into New York City, where several of her pieces have been shown in Soho and on the Upper West Side. Talent doesn’t stay quiet long.
